Closing the Gender Gap in Patenting, Innovation, and Commercialization: Programs Promoting Equity and Inclusion

In July 2018  the Institute for Women’s Policy Research (IWPR) released their report on “Closing the Gender Gap on Patenting and Innovation”, a study of programs around the country identified as national models for helping to address the gender gap in commercialization.  The report focused on only 7 programs nationally, one of which is the Empowering Women in Technology Startups (EWITS) program developed here at UF.  The report was released via a media event in Washington DC on Capitol Hill.
